Star Wars: The Old Republic now live

This is just like Rift all over again. "Best MMO ever!" "WoW's days are over!" "It's just so amazing I crapped my pants!"

I bought Rift and realized how much of a turd it was after a month. I didn't see anything significantly awesome from the beta to make this anything other than another WoW clone with a scifi skin. And, well...it's Star War. And unless you love the franchise, you're going to hate the game.

Just my 2 cents. When one of these games actually does something different, I'll pay attention. For this, same ol', same ol', rock-paper-scissors, kill, loot, quest, blah, etc. Boring.
