Our Rules of Fair Play:
Cheating:
If you are caught cheating on the server then we will kick and ban you from our server. Cheating also covers the use of map bugs (glitches). For example, going under maps, wall hacks, aimbots, the use of "No recoil" scripts. You will be banned.
Keybinds:
We do not allow any kind of fire rate script (vstr) or the mousewheel to be assigned as the attack button, you will be kicked from the server as soon as it is detected.
Offensive / Abusive behavior:
If you are caught being offensive or abusive to other players/admins you will be kicked from our server. People play the game for fun; they do not expect to receive abuse. If you act anti-socially, then expect to be dealt with accordingly.
Sportsmanship:
No obsessive slamming people about their ability and such. Players are here to have fun and everyone should be able to play without being ridiculed about their play style or lack thereof.
Use of Offensive Player Names:
You will be asked to change it.
Member Expulsion:
{FragFest} clan members may be expelled from the clan for: a) violations of these rules, b) lack of playing time, or c) any activity or actions that may be interpreted by the Administrator as detrimental to the clan.
{FragFest} reserves the right to alter these rules as needed to preserve the integrity of the clan, its membership, and its guests.
We stream to PBBans, PunkBusted, and AON. They offer:
I recently played on a modded server, and after fixing the usual annoyances that come from doing that, I discovered that I could not see what I was typing into the chat interface unless it was at the end of the game while the scores/stats were showing. After some searching of my multi-player .cfg files, I discovered an entry that with some tweaking fixed the problem. So here is the short version:
Open your game. Before entering play, open the console (you must have the console enabled first in the game options) by typing the tilde, it looks like this: ~
Just press the shift key and the button under the Esc key.
Now type "cg_hudChatPosition 5 204" without the quotes. Restart your game, and now the chat thingy will be fixxored.
Speed up Firefox: If you have a broadband connection (and most of us do), you can use pipelining to speed up your page loads. This allows Firefox to load multiple things on a page at once, instead of one at a time (by default, it's optimized for dialup connections). Here's how:
Type about:config into the address bar and hit return. Type network.http in the filter field, and change the following settings (double-click on them to change them):
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
NEXT To stop pages from stealing your cursor when they load (I hate when they do that) Create a new text file named "user" with notepad, but save it with the extension .js instead of .txt, i.e. "user.js". In this file, add these lines:
user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "nofocus"); user_pref("capability.policy.nofocus.sites", "http://www.yahoo.com"); user_pref("capability.policy.nofocus.HTMLInputElement.focus", "noAccess"); In that example I am targeting yahoo. If you need more, just alter the line where Yahoo appears to read as such: user_pref("capability.policy.nofocus.sites", "http://www.yahoo.com", "http://someothersite.com", "http://andthissitealso.com");
Now copy this file into this path: C:Documents and Settings[Your user profile name]Application DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles
Good luck :)
